A former security guard has filed a lawsuit against Dean Ambrose and multiple WWE stars stemming from an alleged incident that happened at show in which he worked security for. Troy Rivers claims he was hired to work security and monitor the crowd at a WWE show at the Savannah Civic Center in 2013 when he was allegedly struck in the head, neck and back by a folding chair.

Rivers, the plaintiff, believes Ambrose (whose real name is Jonathan Good) struck him but because his back was turned, he isn’t sure.

"We haven't reviewed the video from the event yet, so we're bringing in everyone on the card that night," Rivers' attorney, Kevin Elwell, told Courthouse News. "Only one guy did it, but we don't know which one yet."

Other names listed as defendants in the suit include John Cena, Tim Works, Ryback, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Fandango, R-Truth, Cody Rhodes, Cesaro and Damien Sandow.

Rivers claims the assault left him with "serious, significant and permanent personal injuries." His wife, Mary, who is also a plaintiff in the case, claims because of the assault, she is no longer able to have "conjugal fellowship" with her husband.

WWE responded in a written statement, claiming no knowledge or any such incident.
