To followup on what CJ Blaze wrote about MVP, leaving TNA Wrestling, this is a result of what happened with Hernandez.
We reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium on July 15, 2015 that TNA was in trouble for using Hernandez at their last set of Impact tapings. Basically, MVP pushed TNA to sign Hernandez to add him as a member of The BDC. Hernandez felt Lucha Underground had breached their deal and indicated he was a free agent. After the material was taped, Lucha Underground’s lawyers informed the TNA office he was still under contract.
TNA blamed the entire thing on MVP, canceled his future bookings and we heard were threatening to release him. While I cannot confirm they outright terminated him before his contract came up (it was set to expire in February 2016), they clearly decided to part ways after the situation.
