Money In The Bank is right around the corner, and the card this year is a little lackluster for my taste. The actual Money In The Bank Ladder Match is so one-sided on who will win it’s not even funny. I’m here to change that, with a little creative “What if” scenarios. Time to see how my Fantasy Card compares to the real thing. As always, I have to go based on the results of the last pay per view, and all injured superstars are out. Let’s get booking.

Kick-Off Show: Stardust vs. Zack Ryder

This match is nothing more than a time filler. Best utilized to build towards that potential Stephen Amell vs. Stardust match that could happen at SummerSlam. If it does happen, best to start rebuilding credibility back for the Stardust gimmick.

Winner - Stardust

Match #1: Money In The Bank Tag Team Ladder Match - Tyson Kidd & Cesaro vs. The Ascension vs. Prime Time Players vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan vs. Lucha Dragons

Since Elimination Chamber was so innovative by allowing teams to compete, why not do the same for the Money In The Bank. Two briefcases hanging above the ring, and the first team to capture them gets a title shot at any time up to a year. I limited it to 5 teams (10 superstars in total), just so that too much action wasn’t going on. It would be a great action packed, spot fest, that would get that crowd going. As for the victors, I am giving it to Prime Time. The other four teams don’t need or deserve those briefcases, but Prime Time could really make themselves a memorable tag team with this opportunity. Plus, it would look like a natural fit for them.

Winners - Prime Time Players

Match #2: Intercontinental Championship Match - Big Show vs. Ryback

Ryback winning the Elimination Chamber was a good call, and him facing Big Show is a strong move to building his reign, and the title back credibility. A strong win over a veteran will do wonders in the eyes of the fans, and hopefully a few strong feuds will help make Ryback that main eventer WWE has been wanting him to be for years.

Winner - Ryback (Retains)

Match #3: The Miz & Bo Dallas vs. Mega Powers 2.0

More or less the bathroom break for the show, but it could have a ton of potential. Imagine Miz returning and mocking Damian Sandow for falling back into his old mimicking ways. Mega Powers start feuding with Miz, and Miz recruits Bo Dallas as his partner and new PR Spokesman. They would make a wonderful promo heavy heel team for the fans to hate. A victory would provide a great story of Damian Sandow trying to discover who he is, and help get him out of this comedic rut.

Winners - The Miz & Bo Dallas

Match #4: Kevin Owens vs. John Cena

Since they made this match official during Elimination Chamber, it had to be on mine, and honestly, I wouldn’t change anything WWE has done with these two. It has been amazing in so many ways. The ending should be similar yet different come Money In The Bank. John Cena needs to win so that he isn’t completely dominated, but Kevin Owens should pull another Sami Zayn. Kevin Owens should beat Cena to the point where he can barely stand, and the referee tries to stop him, but Owens’ determination to destroy Cena keeps him attacking. This leads to a disqualification, and a win for Cena, but Owens still walks out knowing he broke the champion.

Winner - John Cena

Match #5: Divas Championship Match - Naomi vs. Nikki Bella (Paige is Guest Referee)

I love Naomi, and she deserves to be champion. This heel turn has been entertaining, and I was certain she would have won when Tamina came to her side. Yet, she is out of the title picture, and Nikki is a heel...sort of. The division seems to have jumped out of one mess into another. It has the time to be entertaining, but has no creative direction at all. Now that Paige is back, and the three have squared off, Nikki should remain a face. Paige should have gotten her chance and lost, but not from twin magic. Naomi finally earns a #1 Contenders Match, but Paige is named the guest referee to ensure a fair match. The match will end with Paige accidentally hitting Nikki and giving Naomi the win. This pushes the feud between the three, but allows Naomi to become the champion she deserves to be.

Winner - Naomi (NEW Champion)

Match #6: Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Neville vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt vs. King Barrett vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

The big difference between the Money In The Bank and my version is that I have included Bray Wyatt and King Barrett and excluded Kofi Kingston and Kane. Let’s be honest, the current Money In The Bank potential is surrounding only one man. Roman Reigns is basically the only one set up to win the match. This is not what the match is for. In my version, Kane and The Authority would make it their mission to make sure Roman Reigns doesn’t win. Towards the end of the match Roman Reigns would be close to victory until Kane and J&J Security attack. Reigns would defend himself and be close to winning till the lights cut out. Bray Wyatt is at the top of the ladder and takes out Roman Reigns. He know owns the case. This gives Bray a purpose as he can now talk about his potential cash in, and he can continue to flop in and out of feuds, because his constant will be that briefcase.

Winner - Bray Wyatt

Match #7: WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match - Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Since I have two Money In The Bank Ladder Matches, I felt a third ladder match was overkill. So for the rematch, these two would follow a similar path with Reigns setting the stage, except the stipulation is that the must prove once and for all who is the best. Any outside interference is prohibited, and the match can only end in pinfall or submission. This way the better man can finally prevail. Seth Rollins continues to pull the better than thou attitude; except, he doesn’t get buried along the way. The match would be a straight up classic. Weapons are sparsely used, and in the end, Seth Rollins does use his wits to beat Dean Ambrose. This will continue Seth’s arrogance for his eventual split from The Authority, and add a new level to the feud between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Winner - Seth Rollins (Retains)

That is my Fantasy Card. We have future stars built, and added new dimensions to already established feuds. What do you think about this card, and what changes would you have made. let me know in the comments below. Have a good day.
