Orton vs. Lesnar Rematch, Goldberg Returning?, WWE Star Arrested, Dudleyz Strange Departure

- WWE has announced that Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar will work a SummerSlam rematch at the WWE live event in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Official details are available at this link.

- TMZ Sportsran a story today about Bill Goldberg talking with WWE about expanding their working relationship for a potential return to the company. They’re late on this as we detailed the story about Goldberg possibly returning to the ring at Wrestlemania 33over the summer here in our Members content.

- Bo Dallas was in fact removed from a flight from Dallas to Puebla, Mexico over the weekend due to being intoxicated and he was later arrested. According to police, Dallas was slumped over in a chair and smelled of alcohol. Once officers determined he was so intoxicated that he was a danger to himself and others, he was placed under arrest. This is obviously why Dallas was not on WWE’s show in Puebla, Mexico.

- The Dudley Boyz are returning to the indie circuit after leaving WWE as they’re advertised as Team 3D for Insane Championship Wrestling’s show on Sunday, November 20th at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. This is a weird situation as The Dudley Boyz were offered contract extensions with WWE in July and they agreed in principle. The plan heading into the fall was to do something with Bubba Ray in singles competition. However, as it turned out, the deals offered in July were never signed and they are in fact gone from WWE. - AJ Stylestold Complex that he’s been traveling alone since Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were traded to Raw in the 2016 WWE Draft. - Kazuchika Okada of New Japan Pro Wrestling was at WWE SummerSlam as a guest. Obviously anyone with NJPW is going to creep on WWE’s radar and we’re working on a story about another talent that will be online shortly. - Georges St-Pierre has no problem with his teammate Rory MacDonald defecting from UFC to Bellator MMA. Here’s what he told UPROXX:

“Oh, I am very happy for Rory… I think it's a great move for him. He chose the best option for himself and his family. I wish him the best. We're going to train together still. I'm very happy for him. He found a new home to make more money and, if the conditions of work are better, I'm happy. I'm all for that.”
