Scott Hall Kicked Out Of Airport Bar, Big Babyface Turn, Confirmed Cruiserweights, Bo Dallas Update, Goldberg Continues To Go At Lesnar


- Smackdown Live will take place tonight from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. WWE has announced that AJ Styles will confront WWE Champion Dean Ambrose. This week’s show will emanate from Lincoln, Nebraska as it will be the go-home to WWE Backlash episode. In addition to that, the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament will continue with Rhyno & Heath Slater vs. The Hype Bros. and The Usos vs. American Alpha. Expect plenty of Backlash hype, here’s the pay-per-view before tonight’s Smackdown:

* Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship
* Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Bella in a Six-pack challenge for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
* The finals of the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament
* Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
* The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

- WWE Backlash will take place Sunday from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia and will serve as the first single brand pay-per-view. We’ll have complete coverage here at

- Scott Hall is back in the news again for all of the wrong reasons. TMZ Sports reports that Hall was kicked out of the bar at T.G.I. Friday’s in the Atlanta airport over the weekend for being drunk, rowdy and disrespectful to the bartender. Hall was reportedly at the establishment Saturday night, drinking Coors Light and tequila shots. According to an unnamed patron cited by TMZ, Hall hit on the bartender and called her a bitch. The bartender’s father so happened to be at the bar and an altercation ensued. Police were called and were able to defuse the situation without an arrest. Video is embedded above.

- As we’ve been reporting, Seth Rollins has gone babyface on Raw. After this week’s show went off the air, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho attacked Roman Reigns and Rollins made the save. The babyfaces celebrated to send the crowd home happy.

- If you missed Raw last night, Bo Dallas is not only back after being removed from a flight and arrested for public intoxication, WWE is re-heating the “BO-lieve” gimmick. Dallas beat Kyle Roberts (a Harley Race trainee known for his work with WLW) on the show and his segment can be seen at this link.

- The woman that jobbed to Nia Jax on Raw, who worked as Ann Esposito, was Monica Passeri, and was also trained by Harley Race.

- Match four between Sheamus and Cesaro will take place on Wednesday at the WWE live event in London, England. Sheamus is unbeaten through three matches.

- Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick, Noam Dar and TJ Perkins are all confirmed for the new cruiserweight division on Raw. The division is set to premiere on the September 19, 2016 episode and it could very well serve as a test run for cruiserweights to come to Smackdown as well.

- There continues to be a lot of jokes and banter amongst fans about Seth Rollins being unsafe but he continues to get support from his co-workers. Literally everyone that is asked about Rollins and people getting injured while working him have refused to blame him. That also goes for the people that have been injured while working Rollins, including John Cena, Sting and Finn Balor. All three people who have suffered serious injuries in matches against Rollins have absolved him of any blame.

- Bill Goldberg did an interview that he ended by blowing his nose in a Brock Lesnar t-shirt and telling him that he’s next. You can watch it at this link.

- The card for WWE Clash of Champions, a Raw only pay-per-view, has taken shape after last night’s show. The following matches have been announced:

* Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship
* The New Day vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson for the WWE Tag Team Championship
* Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

- It was announced last night on Raw by Mick Foley that WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens will face Roman Reigns in a non-title match on next week’s show. Here’s the closing segment from Raw.

- Jason Jordan & Chad Gable are scheduled to appear on ESPN’s "Off The Top Rope" segment Wednesday night on SportsCenter.

- UFC has moved the scheduled fight between Damir Hadzovic and Yukawa Kazuya from the UFC 203 preliminary card on Saturday to UFC Fight Night 97 on October 15, 2016 from Pasay City, Philippines.
