I was in attendance at last night's TNA Impact Wrestling live event from the Raleigh County Beckley Convention Center in Beckley, West Virginia. Below is a full report from the show:

Pre-show/Notes of Interest:

- I hosted a live radio special with the local ESPN 102.3 The Ticket crew. I interviewed ODB, Eric Young and Kid Kash. I want to thank Keith Thompson, Scott Hill and my pal Anthony Byrge for working with me and helping us out. My cousin, James Songer, was there on behalf of and helped take photos and record video. I will be posting media from the show later today.

- Christy Hemme was there in place of Jeremy Borash as I was told he's in the United Kingdom on promotional work. Hemme ran the stands in the arena for cardio prior to the show.

- Sarita was sick and was asked by TNA officials prior to the show if she would be able to go. She reassured staff she was good to go and worked later in the night.

- There were tryouts earlier in the day as D-Lo Brown hosted a "Gut Check" workshop from the venue. D-Lo was also the agent in charge of the show.

- Security was handled by Ronnie Lang and Atlas Security.

- Kid Kash had a fan tossed for throwing a drink at him. Kash alerted Bob Rosen of TNA who worked with Atlas Security and local police to have the fan ejected.

Show Results:

* Eric Young & ODB b. Hernandez & Sarita. Young did comedy in the bout, ODB was way over.

* Earl Hebner came out to referee the next match and revealed his "d--- right I did it" t-shirt that's in reference to the Bret Hart screwjob. TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries b. Kid Kash. Kash pulled Aries' trunks down in the match, exposing his backside.

* TNA Knockout Women's Champion Gail Kim b. Tara. Tara worked the match with her knee wrapped and was visibly shaken up afterwards,

* TNA Tag Team Champions Samoa Joe & Magnus b. Crimson & Matt Morgan.

There was a lengthy intermission where fans were able to go backstage as well as purchase merchandise. Don West stayed in the ring, propped up in one spot on the ropes throughout the duration.

* Ric Flair came out and cut a promo to a big reaction from the crowd. Gunner w/Flair b. Garett Bischoff with his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.

* Bully Ray came out and cut a heel promo. Ray vs. James Storm ended in disqualification when TNA Champion Bobby Roode came out and attacked Storm. The crowd chanted loudly for Jeff Hardy. Hardy was more over than anyone on the show, drawing strong reactions from the crowd.

* There was some mic work back and forth before a tag team match main event was made and referee Brian Hebner told the heels they had until the count of 10 to get their a--es back in the ring. Jeff Hardy & James Storm b. Bully Ray & TNA Champion Bobby Roode to send the crowd home happy.

Thoughts & Other Notes of Interest:

- The crowd was modest and I honestly believe that our radio remote was the only real local promotion TNA had for the show. I talked with several of my friends in the area who said promotion for the show was very weak.

- Merchandise sold very well as Don West was telling people that he sold several $400 replicas of the TNA Championship belt.

- The show was fine but I didn't enjoy it as much as last year's show in the same venue. The energy came in spurts as the crowd was really behind ODB, Ric Flair and Jeff Hardy. Bobby Roode drew strong heel reactions as did Bully Ray but other than that, nothing was really worth noting.

- There's more to come as I will be posting photos and video from the show. I am also preparing a blog for Richard's Backstage Blog that will discuss my insider observations from the show.
