I personally feel the past 6 months or so have been refreshing in WWE to see so many mid-carders getting pushed in main event slots. What is your opinion?

We’ve seen more of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Dolph Ziggler and that’s a good thing. If there is a positive to take away from Brock Lesnar’s reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, it’s that there have been opportunities for some of the mid carders to grab the brass ring. Now, it will be interesting to see who “sticks” and who is relegated back to the mid-card as we head into the Road to Wrestlemania. Rollins probably has the best chance considering he’s been operating as the company’s top heel and still holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, but Ziggler has proved he’s going to give WWE every reason he can to continue prominently featuring him.

Should WWE have started to tease dissension between The Miz and Damien Mizdow at WWE TLC given the reactions from the crowd? After all, Miz was the heel in his hometown.

WWE started to tease dissension between The Miz and Damien Mizdow before they won the WWE Tag Team Championship and a program between the two seems to be an inevitability. Regardless of when WWE does it, they have to give Damien Sandow more. It’s criminal how far he’s taken what is essentially a throwaway gimmick. It’s beyond frustrating to see a prospect that seems to have everything needed to take a big step forward only to be buried time and time again. He survived the "Charlie Haas treatment" for goodness sakes!

Was Dolph Ziggler legitimately injured at Raw?

I’m told Dolph Ziggler has been working banged up and was noticeably limping backstage at Raw, however, he worked the next night and isn’t expected to miss any time.

What was the point of having the WWE World Heavyweight Champion appear on Raw without the belt. It just makes the biggest title in the business look like dog sh*t!

I absolutely agree! We noticed how bad that looked and people backstage did as well. I’m still unclear if Lesnar was scripted to run-in without the belt or if it was forgotten. Either way, it’s an inexcusable blunder and made the title even more forgettable.

It would be one thing if Brock was there each and every week and defended the title every 30 days but the fact it was his first appearance since SEPTEMBER, the belt had to be featured. I hope whoever produced that segment was spoken to about it and that such a blunder doesn’t occur again.

With Dolph Ziggler beating Seth Rollins on Smackdown do you think WWE is finally going to let him carry the Intercontinental Championship for an extended period of time and bring prestige back to it?

I hope so but based on the yo-yo type career Dolph Ziggler has had so far, I don’t want to get my hopes up. I thought Survivor Series was the beginning of his elevation but he seemed to be quickly put back in his place (as a proverbial mid-carder) on Raw a couple of weeks ago. Now, he looks to be trending up once again after a show-stealing ladder match against Luke Harper at WWE TLC and prominent booking on TV this week. While in-character, Ziggler talked about his status extensively in the weekly interview with Michael Cole that you can watch at this link.

As I stated above, not everyone that has been working in a more prominent role is going to be there when Wrestlemania season starts and it will be interesting to see where Dolph is booked. I do believe the Intercontinental Championship is more relevant than it’s been in quite some time thanks to the stellar match at last Sunday’s pay-per-view.

Every year, my buddies and I product the Wrestlemania card and outcomes in advance. How close do you think I am?’

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

Undertaker or Triple H vs. Sting

No Holds Barred match
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

If Undertaker fights Sting
John Cena vs. Triple H

If Triple H fights Sting
John Cena vs. Rusev

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winner: Dean Ambrose

Sheamus (heel) vs. Ryback

WWE Tag Team titles
The Ascension vs. The Usos

Intercontinental title
Bray Wyatt vs. Dolph Ziggler

Divas title
Nikki Bella vs. Natalya vs. Charlotte

The Miz vs. Damien Mizdow

Your card doesn’t look bad and I’ve heard a number of those bouts pitched, especially the likes of Roman Reigns challenging for the title, Triple H vs. Sting and John Cena vs. Rusev. Hunter is another part-time talent that I haven’t talked a lot about in Ask WNW but he stands to get a marquee match as well next year. WWE is hopeful to get Daniel Bryan on the card but he’s far from confirmed. The Rock is considered doubtful but not completely out yet. The Undertaker is a question mark but if he can go, a bout against Sting looms. We’ll continue to track programs heading into Wrestlemania and pass information along as we get it.
