WrestleMania 31 Fantasy Card Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of the Fantasy Card. If you missed part 1 I recommend you check it out at this link here. If you are all caught up then let's continue with the second half of the show, as we exit the under card and enter the main attractions.

Match #5: No Holds Barred Match - Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan deserves his own program, and not to be thrown into a pointless cluster of a match that is the Intercontinental Ladder Match. In this scenario, Daniel Bryan actually gets a shot against Brock Lesnar for the title on Raw. The match is hyped the entire night. Daniel Bryan comes out, and is brutally attacked by a surprise return from Sheamus. Sheamus beats him to the point where he can’t compete. The feud is reignited. Sheamus isn’t happy that Daniel Bryan is seen as a top guy, but he is the man who beat him in 18 seconds and is considered an after thought to the fans. He blames them for what happened to Daniel Bryan. The match is made a No Holds Barred Match, that way a winner will be decided, and the two men can leave it all out there. This way Sheamus comes off looking dominate, but Daniel Bryan gets to avenge his loss to him with a solid victory.

Winner - Daniel Bryan

Match #6: United States Championship Match - John Cena vs. Rusev (c)

The build has been pretty solid for this, minus the fact that they completely punked Rusev out on Raw. The way Cena should have gotten his title match is by offering a trade. Rusev puts the title on the line, but if Cena loses, he has to admit that Russia is superior to the United States. This pits title vs. pride. Many would assume that John Cena would win and continue being the proud American he is, but that isn’t good enough for me. Rusev wins, and everyone is shocked. John Cena wouldn't be able to bring himself to making the statement, but instead offers his career for one final shot at Extreme Rules. Rusev would then be conquered here in a brutal match. This way we see Rusev get his WrestleMania moment, and John Cena would still end up with the United States Championship in the end of it all. Win win.

Winner - Rusev (Retains)

Match #7: Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

I loved the build for their feud. The only thing I would have liked to see would be a different angle in the end. Yes, revenge is the basic feud ingredient, but what if it was more than what Rollins did to him? What if Randy wanted to take everything away from Rollins? After Randy Orton attacks Seth Rollins, we see Orton put out a challenge to The Authority. Have Rollins prove he is the best. Have him defend that briefcase, and let’s see which one of the Authority’s chosen warriors is the true future. The match is set to a ladder match, and if Seth cashes in the briefcase before then it would be for the title with Roman Reigns getting a shot later that night against the winner. The case wouldn’t be used by WrestleMania, and Orton would fail to get the win. A sneaky Seth Rollins would outsmart the viper and steal another victory.

Winner - Seth Rollins

Match #8: 4-Way Dance Divas Championship Match - AJ Lee vs. Paige vs. Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella (c)

Basically take the current feud, but make it for the title. The elimination element will allow for an interesting outcome. For instance, Paige would eliminate Brie Bella. AJ Lee would follow suit by eliminating Nikki Bella. This leaves us with a new Divas Champion no matter what. After a competitive altercation, Paige comes out on top, and wins back the title and earns her first WrestleMania moment.

Winner - Paige (NEW Champion)

Match #9: WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match - Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

The problem with this build, is that there was none minus the Paul Heyman promos. Bring in some action, some fighting, make a story around these guys and why this is important. That way when Roman Reigns wins it actually means something. Also, when Seth Rollins cashes in we can see all of that support for Reigns run to his aid as his moment was stolen from him. It would create an instant top face, an instant top heel, all while keeping Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar looking strong.

Winner - Roman Reigns (NEW Champion)

MITB Briefcase Cashed in: Winner - Seth Rollins (NEW Champion)

Match #10: Sting vs. Undertaker

This is what WrestleMania should have ended on. I may be bending my rules a little, but Sting should have gotten to face Undertaker. It was the one match he wanted, the match everyone wanted, the match Vince even wanted. But Triple H’s ego had to win this one. Granted that match will be epic, but Undertaker vs. Sting would have been historic. This would also mark the final match in both of their careers as well. If I can’t have it that way, then Triple H vs. Sting is a fine choice as well. Except, WrestleMania would end with the Undertaker challenging Sting to a match at next year’s WrestleMania, and that would be their final match. Regardless Sting would win his first match in WWE without a doubt.

Winner - Sting

That is my fantasy card. Like I said, I tried to push talent and fix it so that a story was driving every match. The final match on the card may be cheating, but hey I can't always be perfect haha. So what is your fantasy card? Let me know in the comments below, and as always, have a good day.
