WWE Mocks CM Punk, AJ Styles A Top Guy, Arrest Video Of WWE Star, Top NXT Name Wants To Leave?

- AJ Styles is now WWE Champion after beating Dean Ambrose following a low blow and the Styles Clash on Ambrose at Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view. - Becky Lynch won the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship after winning a Six-Pack Challenge that came down to her and Carmella. We were able to spoil this outcome as well as Lynch was a late odds shift over Nikki Bella.

- The Miz ended up retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship over Dolph Ziggler, something that was in flux well into the weekend. Miz was originally favored to win, then Ziggler, back to Miz and it flipped again. With that being said, Miz’s name is being rumored for something else as we have full details available here on

- There has been some confusion about the status of Tyson Kidd, his WWE future, whether or not he has signed a contract extension and more. We have that story available here on and will publish it later this week in our Members content.

- CM Punk earned a $500,000 purse for his fight against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on Saturday. He was also awarded $2500 in sponsorship pay from Rebook. Gall was paid $15,000 and another $15,000 for winning. It’s also believed Punk will be paid a portion of the pay-per-view revenue, at least $2.50 for every pay-per-view buy.

- Speaking of CM Punk, he was mocked and ridiculed at last night’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view in the opening of Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. If you didn’t see the pay-per-view or didn’t notice it, TMZ has the footage that we've embedded below:

As you can see, Ziggler and Miz re-enacted Punk vs. Gall at UFC 203 in the opening of their Intercontinental Championship match. Ziggler played the role of Gall and Miz played Punk.

- WWE Raw will take place live tonight from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Roman Reigns will face WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and if he wins, he’ll get a spot in the WWE Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions that already includes a newly turned Seth Rollins. - UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Micic and Alistair Overeem were both awarded the $50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus at UFC 203. Jessica Andrade and Yancy Medeiros earned $50,000 for ”Performance of the Night.”

- Eric Young is rumored to have recently signed a contract with WWE. I’m unclear the terms and whether or not it’s for the main roster or WWE NXT. I could see it going either way, with Vince McMahon wanting depth on the main roster and Triple H wanting to restock NXT.

- TMZ Sports obtained the footage of Bo Dallas being arrested for public intoxication at Dallas Fort Worth airport in August. This caused him to miss a WWE live event in Puebla, Mexico. WWE never commented on the incident and Dallas was disciplined internally. You can watch the footage in the video embedded above

- German goalkeeper Tim Wiese reported to the WWE Performance Center over the weekend. WWE announced he’ll hope to be ring ready by the time WWE tours Frankfurt, Munich, Oberhausen and Berlin November 2nd, 3rd, 8th and 9th, respectively. The company is making a big effort to sign stars that can help them in specific markets.

- Mas Lucha in Mexico interviewed Alberto Del Rio where he spoke about his departure from WWE. He touched on a number of things but the most notable was when he was asked about his friend Andrade "Cien" Almas. Del Rio implied that Almas wants to come back to Mexico.
