- A report attributed to Dave Meltzer claims Becky Lynch will not defend the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss at No Mercy due to an undisclosed medical issue. Whatever is bothering Lynch isn’t believed to be serious or keep her out of action long. However, the latest word is that she won’t be cleared to wrestle tonight. Lynch was favored to retain.

- The latest betting odds for WWE No Mercy have AJ Styles retaining, The Usos winning the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship, Dolph Ziggler winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Randy Orton winning as well as Nikki Bella and Baron Corbin going over.

- Despite that, here’s what the preview for this week’s Smackdown Live reads straight from my TV guide: “(Sea 18 Ep 41)(8:00pm - 10:00pm) From San Jose. A recap of No Mercy, including the three-way battle for world champion; and a look at Dolph Ziggler’s exit from WWE.

- Bret Hart offended Michael Hayes in a recent interview with Forbes when talking about The Freebirds. Here’s what he said: "I've always gotten along with [Michael Hayes], but as far as their contribution to wrestling, gimme a break. - Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson surprised everyone by going all twenty-five minutes in their five round fight last night at UFC 204. Some people — including Hendo 00 questioned the scoring with Bisping winning by unanimous decision. Here’s a look at the scorecard:

- Bisping and Henderson were awarded an extra $50,000 each for Fight of the Night Bonus. That bonuses was also awarded to Jimi Manuwa (who knocked out Ovince Saint Preux) and Iuri Alcantara (who submitted Brad Pickett).
