SummerSlam Card, Possible Injury, Paige Removed, Graham Hospitalized, Suspension Ends, Face Of WWE's "New Era"

- John Cena will face AJ Styles at SummerSlam as expected. Styles challenged Cena on Smackdown Live and the match was made official when Cena accepted. This was the original plan for SummerSlam, bumped up for Money in the Bank and they ultimately decided to do it again. Styles is someone that Vince McMahon trusts to have big matches and has been very pleased with his work.

- Speaking of Smackdown Live, Dolph Ziggler put his No. 1 contendership on the line in a main event match against Bray Wyatt. Ziggler retained but only to get a post-match beatdown from Erick Rowan. WWE Champion Dean Ambrose was on commentary and made the save but The Wyatts fought them off, standing tall to end the show.

- We’ve already been asked if Bray Wyatt was injured in the match and we don’t have confirmation. The referee did throw up the “X” symbol and it looked like a leg injury. Wyatt shrugged off trainers after he finished the match but it is something we’ll continue to follow.

- ICYMI: The crossover angle between Randy Orton and Brock Lesnarcontinued on Smackdown Live.

- Apollo Crews will face The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam after winning a triple threat match against Kalisto and Baron Corbin on Smackdown. Here’s a look at the SummerSlam lineup:

* Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the WWE Universal Championship
* Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship
* Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Women’s Championship
* Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar
* John Cena vs. AJ Styles
* Apollo Crews vs. The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

- Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, known collectively as American Alpha, debuted on Smackdown last night by going over The Vaudevillains. They were heavily praised by their peers and have a lot of support from fellow talent on the main roster.

- Curt Hawkins was backstage at last night’s Smackdown in Nashville, TN. PWInsider was first with the news.

- Kane squashed John Skyler in a dark match prior to last night’s Smackdown in Nashville, TN.

- After this week’s Smackdown Live went off the air, Roman Reigns & John Cena beat AJ Styles & Seth Rollins in a dark match main event.

- Paige has been removed from WWE’s upcoming tour of New Zealand and Australia. No word on the reasoning at press time.

- ”Superstar” Billy Graham has been admitted to the Mayo Clinic, according to a statement released by Great North Wrestling. Apparently Graham’s symptoms are serious and he’ll undergo further testing today to find out what is the cause.

- IGN has confirmed the following talent for WWE 2K17: Aiden English, Booker T, Brian Pillman, Brie Bella, Chris Jericho, Diego, Erick Rowan, Fernando, Heath Slater, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Jim Neidhart, Konnor, Larry Zybszko, Nikki Bella, R-Truth, Simon Gotch, Ultimate Warrior and Viktor

- WWE premiered a new WWE Network original called “WWE Talking Smack” that aired after last night’s episode of Smackdown Live. The show is basically Smackdown fallout.

- Dolph Ziggler will be on ESPN’s “Off The Top Rope” WWE segment on SportsCenter tonight at 9 PM ET with Jonathan Coachman.

- Sheamus went to the dentist yesterday, blaming a stiff headbutt from Cesaro for loosening his teeth.

- "Welcome" by Fort Minor is one of the theme songs for SummerSlam.

- Congratulations are in order for Rhyno, who won the Republican primary for Michigan's 15th House District seat. He beat Republicans Paul Sophiea and Richard Johnson by 56 votes and will face Democrat Abdullah Hammoud for the seat in November. The seat is being vacated by Democrat George Darany, who can't run again due to a three term-limit. The position pays $71,685 per year. Click here for more.

- Nick Diaz, the brother of Nate Diaz, has completed his 18-month suspension from the Nevada Athletic Commission and is free to fight again. Newly crowned UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley called out Diaz and he erupted to TMZ about it.
