I am told that MVP is looking to return to WWE. With New Japan Pro Wrestling under new ownership, the promotion has cut back even further on some of the money they were using on foreign talent. This is also the reason Matt Bloom ended up leaving to return to WWE.

At this point I do not know where negotiations stand but I can confirm there is interest from MVP on returning to his former employer.

MVP, who left WWE at the end of 2010, signed a contract with NJPW at the beginning on last year. As I reported here on Premium, MVP left WWE on good terms and was careful not to "burn bridges."

As I reported last week here on Richard's Backstage Blog, both Batista and Bobby Lashley are reported to have interest in returning to WWE as well.
