As WWE continues to sort out exactly which new talent they will be signing at the beginning of 2018, roster cuts are also being discussed to make room for the upcoming arrivals. This is the reason for the recent releases of Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae. One wrestler the company is considering releasing is Lince Dorado, who competes on 205 Live and occasionally on Raw.
A writer complained to the company that Dorado has been very aggressive in pitching ideas and that the writer felt threatened by comments Dorado had made. WWE is taking the complaint from the writer very seriously and the incident is being investigated. The legal department is looking at the situation and while a final decision hasn't been made yet on terminating Dorado, it is being seriously considered.
Tension between a wrestler and a specific writer isn't entirely uncommon, but it is very rare that things escalate to this point where a writer goes to the company claiming they've been threatened by the wrestler.
