More Acts from the Past

After the success WWE has had with the return of The New Age Outlaws, we're told Triple H has been talking about bringing back a couple acts from the past to have them work as NXT regulars. He was pleased with Too Cool's performance at NXT ArRIVAL and is looking for more acts from the past that can be sprinkled in with the NXT newcomers.

One observer notes it will be interesting to see how things in NXT develop. WWE views the show differently now that there are so many more people watching. NXT's primary focus will always be to develop future stars for television, however, it's not the sole focus now that it's essentially turned into its own brand.

Reaction to Lockdown

We're told TNA Wrestling was happy with Sunday's Lockdown pay-per-view and have been planning for a while to use the upcoming Impact tapings this week to debut some new talent.

The company was happy Bobby Lashley's return did not leak and very few people knew he was coming in. However, like MVP, Lashley worked without a contract. They put him on without one because they really wanted a surprise at Lockdown but hope to have a deal done shortly.
