Backstage news from Monday Night Raw in Greenville…

- The main topic of conversation at this week's show was the injury situation with Daniel Bryan. Just about everything discussed has been noted, with no decision on the future of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship made until after he has surgery. The timeline is that Bryan will undergo surgery on Thursday under the care of Dr. Joseph Maroon and they should be able to make a determination as to how long he'll be out from there. Obviously, the longer Bryan is expected out, the more likely WWE is to strip him of the title. Regardless of the decision, expect the entire situation to be intertwined with The Authority storyline. I'm told the word put out at Raw on Monday was that no one was to say anything until the surgery took place.

- With Daniel Bryan's situation determinant on his neck surgery, WWE is holding on what to do with Kane. Bryan is off the European tour and will be replaced by Big Show.

- The concern regarding Adam Rose was almost immediate when WWE didn't get the reaction they wanted when he debuted a couple of weeks ago. So far, nothing has happened to change that opinion. We're reminded it's early but steam was already being lost based on the how the vignettes were being received.

- The Usos continue to get rave reviews for their work, with Vince McMahon in particular being high up on them. One discussion that took place at Raw was the possibility of programming them against a heel tag team.
