WWE Veteran Partying Too Much?; Expanding Women’s Wrestling On WWE Network
- WWE is quietly working on putting together another series for the Network that will be similar in some ways to the Global Cruiserweight series, except now the company is looking to bring in women from the independents and around the world for a show that could debut before the end of the year.
- With WWE’s new initiative phasing out "Divas" and focusing on the women as athletes, Stephanie McMahon came up with the idea of a show that would seek out the best undiscovered women wrestlers in the world, feeling it would be the opposite of the previous "Diva Searches" and would show how much the company's approach has changed when it comes to the treatment and portrayal of female talent.
- We’re hearing that several workers have privately griped about working with one well-known WWE veteran. The feeling from the people we’ve spoken with claim this particular worker has been “partying out of control” lately and it’s impacting his in-ring work. I don’t feel comfortable disclosing the name at this juncture but it’s something we’re going to follow and if it continues to be an issue, we’ll update.
