- ROH Champion Kyle O’Reilly will defend the title against Adam Cole at Wrestle Kingdom 11 in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday without a contract to ROH Wrestling, Wrestling News World has learned. The deal just didn’t get done and now it’ll be interesting to see how the title match is handled. For those believing it’s a given O’Reilly will drop the title to Cole, he’s believed to be considering his options with a contract that expires some time in 2017 as well. O’Reilly has garnered interest from WWE, with Daniel Bryan being someone that has pushed the company to sign him.

- Jay Lethal’s new contract with ROH Wrestling is a two-year deal. WWE has had interest in him multiple times but Lethal was never believed to be seriously interested in jumping ship. Lethal is a guy that is not money-driven and understands he has a good gig right now as a top name in Ring of Honor.

- WWE producers are struggling with the lack of depth on Raw, which is one of the reasons it feels like the same matches are repeated over and over again. On example of this is Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho continuing to work one another. They just don’t have a lot of depth at the top of the card.

- We heard Nia Jax tweaked her back during her match with Bayley last night. It’s not believed to be serious.

- Kevin Owens actually pitched the idea of having the person being his set sign for The Kevin Owens Show. That was seen as a ‘stroke of genius’ in the back and got over big.

- WWE continues to tease dissension between Cesaro and Sheamus but Vince McMahon hasn’t made up his mind on whether or not to keep them together or break them up.
