Seth Rollins, Triple H & Randy Orton

- Randy Orton’s shoulder injury has Vince McMahon concerned. The company has been preparing for John Cena’s absence, something we detailed last week in regards to offsetting the loss by adding dates to the contracts of part-time talent. The loss of Orton is yet another blow. Speaking of which, I was told Orton’s injury was “past a shoulder separation.” We’ll wait on the MRI results before updating further. Chris Jericho is another name WWE wants to work more but he’s hesitant to commit for obvious reasons.

- Daniel Bryan's namecontinues to come up in regards to WWE’s current talent crisis. Bryan stated publicly that his status is going to be determined by a third doctor in the near future. If Bryan is cleared it would be hard to envision a scenario where they didn’t give him the ball for an opportunity to run with it but it’s wait and see at this point.

- The call-up of Tyler Breeze has been in the pipeline for months and was finally executed on Tuesday night. He was at Raw on Monday.

- We’re told Luke Harper is away from WWE due to a personal issue but have no further details at this time.

- The name of Finn Balor has come up to challenge John Cena at Hell in a Celbut his name has been mentioned with a half dozen workers that have been discussed.

- Vince McMahon is being criticized by other WWE staff members in regards to his refusal to build new talent. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt are guys that should be closer to the top but Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Kevin Owens, Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler are other names that have been buried at some point. It isn’t seen as a talent issue, there is plenty of talent, just bad execution when it comes to booking. Considerable arguments can be made for Cesaro, Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and Kevin Owens but it is what it is and WWE has work to do if they don’t want viewership to drop off further in the absence of Cena and now Randy Orton.
