Finn Balor

- Samoa Joe was not injured at WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II on Saturday, despite the referee throwing up the X signal after his title match against Shinsuke Nakamura.

- Finn Balor may have suffered a serious shoulder injury at WWE SummerSlam in his Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins. While the severity of the injury is not known, Balor was scheduled to undergo more tests after doing mainstream media rounds on Monday morning. One source believes he may have dislocated his right shoulder but anything involving surgery would obviously be a massive blow.

- John Cena is about to take more time off to film the second season of American Grit. I am still unclear as to when this is happening as Cena is advertised for this week’s Smackdown Live. Putting AJ Styles over was absolutely the right creative call.

- Sasha Banks is taking a month off due to nagging injuries and not because of anything related to Wellness. Once word began to leak that she would be dropping the WWE Women’s Championship and wasn’t advertised until late September, speculation went rampant.

- In addition to the 10 staples, Randy Orton underwent ImPACT Testing for a possible concussion after his match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

- Speaking of Lesnar, the current plan is for Shane McMahon to “find” him an opponent for his next program.
