We’re told Destination America is “very happy” with the ratings of Impact Wrestling, especially given the fact they’re only paying a fraction of what Spike TV paid for the show.

There are, however, issues. Destination America wants TNA’s television taped in American because well, their network is one built around America and they want their programming to feature different American cities. The issue first came up with TNA taping so much of their TV earlier this year in the United Kingdom.

TNA has been planning a tour of China for May 2015 but it’s still not a done deal. The Chinese promoters and the Chinese government wanted an episode of Impact taping over there. So far, Destination America has refused to air a show taped in China and that is the biggest hang up right now and the reason the tour of China still isn't confirmed. It’s such a big issue, the whole tour may fall apart over it.

TNA's in a tough spot because interest in US live events is pretty much non-existent. There is more interest overseas but the issue with their American cable network persists. With the tour in China scheduled to happen in less than a month, they’re running out of time.
