- There was a lot of disappointment on Monday with how Raw came across on television. While it was a holiday show (Labor Day in the United States) and booked to be more or less of the throwaway variety, Vince McMahon wasn’t pleased with how it turned out. Vince is scheduled to meet with the writers and producers about both brands later this week.

- Vince McMahon remains concerned about the lack of talent depth on both Raw and Smackdown. While they are in the brand split for the long haul, the losses of John Cena (filming) and Finn Balor (injury) have Vince worried with the fall television competition coming back at full strength. While Vince likes what they have in terms of NXT and guys that could be stars, there’s still a push to bring back more former stars (which they can't even catch a break there as Shelton Benjamin's offer was rescinded when he failed his physical). More talent from NXT is expected to debut soon as well.

- The plan for Cesaro vs. Sheamus is for Cesaro to come all the way back and beat Sheamus and eventually challenge Kevin Owens. However, there is still talk of moving him to Smackdown.

- WWE botched the fact they advertised two weeks ago if Bayley beat Dana Brooke she would get a shot at Charlotte. With Sasha Banks returning, they want fans to have a short memory.
