Triple H

Edict Saves Sin Cara

As suspected, the only thing that has saved Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, or the original Sin Cara, from getting released from his WWE contract is Triple H's new don't fire anybody edict.

We're told Vince McMahon pushed to just fire him and pointed to issues with injuries, his attitude, in-ring work, etc. but Hunter is holding steadfast to the policy of just letting contracts run out unless what the worker does is something really egregious. At this point, Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde's contract isn't expected to be renewed and there are others as well.

WWE Targeting Ricochet

WWE is still hot on talent in the independent scene in the United States. One name they are currently targeting is a worker by the name of Ricochet. His real name is Trevor Mann and he's known for his work with CHIKARA, Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and New Japan Pro Wrestling. We're told the company hopes to have a developmental deal in place before the end of the year.
