Jeff and Matt Hardy

- Jeff and Matt Hardy are once again on the WWE radar with their contracts coming up with TNA Wrestling next month. This isn’t anything new and a rumor that pops up every time their contracts come up. Basically what you need to know is that WWE probably has more interest in Jeff, but Matt is someone that has garnered more attention after revamping his career over the past year. Matt could end up booking himself independently and do quite well.

- Kenny Omega is set to make a decision regarding his future over the next week. He wants to get things wrapped up although it’s unknown if WWE can actually negotiate with him because his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling keeps him locked up through the end of the month. The hot word on Omega is that he’s returning to NJPW but given how much his stock has increased after Wrestle Kingdom 11, there is a chance he defects to WWE.

- All Lucha Underground contracts could be voided by March 1, 2017. Even if the series is picked up for another season, filming would not begin until November. All deals include clauses regarding six-month work stoppages, which effectively voids them. The Lucha Underground situation is a mess for many reasons including the structure of contracts and them not booking workers for outside work. Lucha Underground is obviously not a touring brand and without a TV deal, there is nothing left.

- Vince McMahon and the writers worked many hours over the past week in attempt to finalize plans for Wrestlemania 33. Things are now considered to locked in, barring a major injury or suspension. We’ll work to uncover everything and bring you the details when we obtain them.
