Universal Studios was upset with TNA Impact Wrestling over their last set of television tapings.
According to a source, park official felt the tapings were a disaster. With the new ownership, some of the people who used to be in charge of getting the tourists in and out of the studio are no longer involved and a lot of things slipped through the cracks. It was very disorganized and there needed up being trouble filling the venue due to the confusion.
Impact had a tour group bring in hundreds of Brazilian tourists to help fill the venue at one point. They were so excited to even have the building half full that they re-arranged the match order of the taping to try to tape the main event of one of the episodes in front of the largest crowd possible.
But half-way through the match, all the Brazilians got up in unison and left, so the main event ended up having an extremely weak crowd after all.
We’ve heard from Universal Studios employees that it was the worst week they’ve ever had working at the park due to problems associated with Impact Wrestling.
