- There has been a lot of communication between WWE and Kurt Angle since he left TNA Wrestling last year. Vince McMahon has always been a fan and took it pretty hard when he ended up going to TNA Wrestling. As previously reported, a deal is not in place for Angle to return to the ring but that doesn't mean there isn't interest from both parties. If Angle can pass a physical, there is a chance he could work again but right now, the only thing is certain is that he'll be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over Wrestlemania 33 weekend. Triple H worked to close the deal last week and has been a key piece at bringing former names back into the fold.

- Darren Young is scheduled to undergo further testing today on the arm he injured during his match against Epico.

- We're still following the situation with Mickie James, as we noted last night on Wrestling News World. She's believed to be returning tonight at Smackdown and they could give her the La Luchadora gimmick. Mickie is someone that is seen as a proven veteran that can not only help bolster their talent roster but also help at developing some of the greener talent.

- Bobby Fish is another Ring of Honor name that could be brought to WWE. Kyle O'Reilly has not signed but is believed to be on the verge. The two could come to NXT as a tag team but nothing is set in stone at press time.

- Cyrus has been hired by New Japan Pro Wrestling to do English commentary to replace Steve Corino. We updated on Corino on Tuesday and he still hasn't confirmed his WWE deal. As for Cyrus, Kenny Omega pushed for NJPW to hire him.

- Kenny Omega told friends and co-workers over the weekend that he cannot tell them what he is going to do in two weeks because he does not know. However, not listening to all interested parties is just bad business. Omega is considered one of the hottest free agents in quite some time and he's playing it smart.
