There is “no movement” on a potential television deal for Global Force Wrestling.
We’re told Jeff Jarrett had been telling his partners he'd have a deal ready to announce in February, but now he's backing off from that. He had dates on hold at a casino in Las Vegas to tape television and the casino is getting frustrated by the numerous delays.
The network interest in GFW has been “tepid at best.” It's taken so long that GFW missed out on their opportunity to sign guys like Kurt Angle, who were ready to jump ship, but in the end had to stay with TNA since GFW didn't have TV ready.
Jarrett is also still shopping a reality show about the life of him and his wife Karen, but obviously nobody has bit on that yet either.
Sources tell Wrestling News World that even some of Jarrett's "staunchest defenders" are losing faith and don't believe GFW is happening any time soon.
