House Of Horrors Update

A lot of different ideas are being thrown around for the House of Horrors match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton at Payback, but nothing is finalized. It could come down to the wire in terms of whether the technology is ready to execute some of the ideas that have been kicked around. The company wants to go above and beyond the video technology that was used to project images on the ring canvas during the WrestleMania match by using 3D holograms in the ring.

The process is expensive though, as well as time consuming, and there may not be enough time to have all of the holograms ready since the ideas for the match keep changing and the special effects people assisting WWE with the project have not been given the full green light yet. Vince doesn't want to commit to spending the money before it's officially decided what exactly the House of Horrors match is going to be.

It's also still up in the air as to whether the title will be on the line or not.

Why WWE Title Changed Hands

While Randy Orton winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania was expected by many, multiple sources have confirmed that Bray Wyatt believed he would be winning the match and was furious when he found out the finish on Friday, March 31st. (That's not the only thing he was mad about recently.)

While the crowd ended up siding with Brock Lesnar that evening, technically Bill Goldberg was the babyface in the match, and with Bill leaving, Brock had to win. Vince McMahon made the call that a babyface needed to win one of the two heavyweight title matches at WrestleMania, resulting in Orton going over for the WWE Title.

Bray had been told that the plan was for him to win the title back from Randy later this year as they were scheduled to work each other on live events in the coming months. Obviously plans changed with the sudden Superstar Shake-Up.

Wyatt still may be in the title picture come Backlash next month. CLICK HERE for more details on how that could happen and why Jinder Mahal is being pushed.
