To update on WWE’s evolving relationship with WWN, remember we reported a few weeks ago about WWN adding weekly shows with one of their lower tier brands to prepare for having a busier schedule if and when WWE has NXT on the road full time and need something in place for newer talent to get experience.

Things continue to progress slowly, with 2017 still the target for NXT to have a big expansion in touring. Last we heard, Triple H had asked WWN to look into a second weekly town, but with the WWE/WWN relationship getting stronger coming out of Wrestlemania 32 weekend, Hunter is now exploring the feasibility of there being 150 developmental events annually in addition to the NXT schedule.
