Finn Balor & John Cena

- With Finn Balor off Raw with an injury and John Cena about to step away from Smackdown due to outside commitments, Vince McMahon was in full panic mode last night at Raw. He and Triple H met with other company officials to discuss more NXT call-ups and the inevitable need to re-stock NXT afterwards.

- There have been even discussions of doing a double turn with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

- In regards to The Dudley Boyz retirement angle, they signed new deals with WWE just last month. The last we heard the plan was to split them up and push Bubba Ray Dudley in a Bully Ray type gimmick. The original plan was for The Dudleys to retire, Bubba to stay on Raw and Devon to go to Smackdown. Obviously this may have changed. UPDATE: In a move that can only be described as shady, we're being told while The Dudleyz were told they had an agreement to remain with WWE in July, they never actually signed the deals. Their original contracts ran out and the extensions were not offered. So now, I can't say for sure the "retirement" is a way to work in the singles split of if they are indeed departing. Stay tuned.

- The Raw script was a total nightmare with a contingency plan having to be put in place because of the injury to Finn Balor. We're told the majority of the show was re-written.

- Vince McMahon was thrilled with how Bayley was received on last night's Raw. The word from one close observer is that Vince sees hints of AJ Lee in her. As for Bayley, her call-up, as we reported, has been planned for several weeks and she was told at NXT TakeOver on Saturday before she went out to enjoy it.
