The original plan for AJ Styles was for WWE to bring him in as a surprise entrant in the 2016 30-man Royal Rumble match later this month. Given the fact it’s already leaked that Styles is likely to sign and this scenario has been talked about, his debut date could change. WWE was upset about the leak but have since used the name and likeness of Styles to create hype. I even saw BG James, who works as a producer in WWE, link to an article noting Styles as a possible surprise entrant on Facebook.

One thing no one is talking about is the shape of Styles’s back. We’re told he’s having some issues with it and it was basically “now or never” in terms of going to WWE this year.

WWE is interested in more talent from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Basically, anyone hot, they are interested. We have more on the backstory at this link. There, you’ll understand there is much more to all of this than meets the eye and is WWE retaliating after negotiations with NJPW went bad (or were leaked).
