- Adam Cole was heavily on the WWE radar prior to his expanded role with New Japan Pro Wrestling. He’s a talent that Vince McMahon wanted to get signed and working for the NXT brand.

- There continues to be concern regarding the health of AJ Styles. We know he has an ankle issue but the longer-term issue is in regards to his back, which is worse than he’s let on. Styles is expected to be limited until his Extreme Rules match against Roman Reigns and his status could play a factor in the call-up of Finn Balor.

- We’re expecting Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows vs. The Usos to be added to Extreme Rules in a gimmick match.

- Kevin Owens is reportedly set for a legitimate main event push after his program with Sami Zayn. One source believes Vince McMahon is over Owens’s “look” and is very high up on his promo work. We’ll see.

- Given the recent round of cuts there is a lot of uneasiness within WWE with many workers wondering if they will be the next person to be cut. As we’ve noted on a couple of occasions, more cuts are expected and bigger contracts are likely to be trimmed.

- Daniel Bryan has been working out heavily and increased his lifting, which continues to lead to speculation that in his mind he is not finished and is making sure he keeps all of his options open.
