- WWE officials are very high up on Finn Balor, which is why he’s already in a program with Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship. Not only is Triple H firmly behind Balor but Vince McMahon is a fan as well. There is some concern about how the gimmick will translate on the main roster but he has a lot of momentum. It’s also worth mentioning that Balor wanted — and was given — assurances he wouldn’t require a lengthy stay at NXT in Florida. Balor wants to be on the main roster and would have stayed in Japan if not given these assurances.

- Vince McMahon is back on his tag team kick, which explains the reuniting of The Prime Time Players and The Lucha Dragons working on the main roster.

- The decision to do Goldust vs. Stardust at Fastlane is seen as rushed and was met with criticism among those that I spoke with.

- There are still a lot of moving parts with the Wrestlemania 31 card. Given the discussions, there is no reason to try and sort through them with specifics but we’ll note the booking of Fastlane will ultimately decide a lot of things. Booking plans for Sunday's pay-per-view have not yet been finalized. The only sure thing at this point is Triple H vs. Sting and Brock Lesnar defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the show next month. Many feel WWE will not be aborting main event plans for Roman Reigns and any suggestion is just a smokescreen.
