The drama between Paige and WWE is once again at a boiling point following her second violation of the Wellness Policy and subsequent 60-day suspension.

It’s likely the drama never really died down from August as WWE wanted Paige to return immediately after her first suspension and their medical team had cleared her to do just that. However, Paige’s personal doctor was advocating that she undergo neck surgery and advised against her return to the ring.

There have been television tapings that WWE had asked Paige to attend that she missed, claiming it conflicted with doctors appointments for her neck. This resulted in her getting backstage heat, something she's had for quite some time due to various reasons.

There is a lot of distrust right now between talent and the WWE office regarding the Wellness Policy. The belief amongst many is that the Wellness Policy is selectively enforced and some have long felt like it’s used to bully people who have heat with the company.

For Paige to get popped twice back-to-back like this, just confirms those suspicions in the eyes of the locker room.
