Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns

- A decision for the partner of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at Sunday’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view had not been made as of late Thursday night. We’ve heard multiple names that have come up from The Rock and Daniel Bryan to Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. Consider Bryan extremely unlikely but he continues to try and push himself back into storylines with his independent medical clearance.

- There is some panic regarding television viewership in WWE with Vince McMahon considering bringing Brock Lesnar back sooner than expected and also getting Triple H back on TV. In typical WWE logic, there have been questions about the drawing power of Seth Rollins but observers in his defense feel he’s just being overexposed.

- Discussions continue to take place how WWE continually ends up in the position of having to bring back past names when they have guys that have been in the works for years in Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and Cesaro. They’re still mid carders and established talent such as Randy Orton and Sheamus are seen as stale that have been forced to the point where fans have become apathetic.

- Nikki Bella has been working through some injury issues lately. She’s not planning time off but is expected to have a less active ring schedule over the next few weeks.
