- The No. 1 contender’s match for Fast Lane was announced for a couple reasons. One, it gives Roman Reigns some time over the next few weeks to see if that’s indeed the direction they want to go. Additionally, it gives WWE an out involving Daniel Bryan if they decide that’s the optimal direction. Unlike most matches that are “booked on the fly,” the finish to this bout isn’t one of those things. This match is part of a plan but obviously what plan WWE executes will determine the outcome.

  • If Reigns goes over Daniel Bryan, the talk is they’ll turn him heel and have Brock go full babyface.
  • If Daniel Bryan goes over Roman Reigns, it shouldn’t be assumed he’ll go on to face Lesnar at Wrestlemania and a three-way (also involving Reigns) cannot be ruled out. I can tell you that both Vince McMahon and Triple H want this to be Reigns’ year in the Wrestlemania main event, so it’s hard to envision a scenario where he isn’t in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

- Randy Orton’s delayed return is storyline related. The plan has been to program him with Seth Rollins for Wrestlemania.

- Dolph Ziggler is still rumored for a heel turn sooner than later.

- Bray Wyatt came out of Raw banged up but it wasn’t believed to be anything serious. Apparently he tweaked his back and was trying to “walk it off” backstage.

- The Rock won’t be working Wrestlemania 31 due to filming obligations. Make no mistake about it, the pitch was made and the money was there but they just couldn’t work it out. Not only is Rock’s movie schedule filled but studios are hesitant about signing off on him wrestling due to the risk of injury.

- Sheamus is reportedly ready to return but they’re also delaying it for storyline purposes. Many feel Sheamus will be turned heel.

- Triple H is high up on the tag team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. I’m told to look for it to move forward.
