While this isn't going to be happening anytime soon, or as long as TNA has open litigation against WWE, there is one top WWE star (who I wasn't given the name of) pushing for the company to sign Samoa Joe.

The logic is obvious with the success of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Antonio Cesaro. I'm told it's not seen as much of a gamble as it once was as Punk and Bryan have "kicked the door open" for former Ring of Honor stars that may not fit the typical WWE "image."

My source reminded me at this stage in Joe's career and with the toll his career has taken on hid body, many feel this would be one of the last shots he has going to WWE and being able to work their schedule. Alex Shelley is another name that remains on WWE's radar as the ROH door is wide open.
