Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton

Vince McMahon and Triple H are still not in agreement on the finish of Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton at next Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Vince wants to keep Brock strong and this match was originally booked as just a way to get Brock a decent win but keep him away from the world title.

But Triple H is pushing for Randy to go over. Yes, they’re friends, but Hunter’s argument is that Orton is going to be around more often, he’s been a model citizen since he returned and it sends a bad message to the locker room to have Lesnar fail multiple drug tests leading up to his UFC fight and then still put him over at SummerSlam.

Vince put the brakes on Roman Reigns for failing a Wellness test, but he's not paying Roman anywhere near what he's paying Brock. So even though Vince might normally sour on a guy for a failure, he's got so much invested in Brock both financially as well as having him be the one to end the Undertaker's streak that he doesn't want to put Brock under to Orton.

Ultimately it's going to be Vince's final call, but when the match was originally booked, there was no doubt on what the finish would be and now things aren't quite as clear.
