Wrestlemania 33

We have a new update on the latest creative plans for next year’s Wrestlemania 33 pay-per-view.

All year long Vince McMahon has been ‘gung-ho’ on the following main events taking place at Wrestlemania 33:

  • The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar
  • John Cena vs. The Undertaker

While Cena vs. Undertaker is still penciled in for the show, as for Brock, Shane McMahon was slated as the backup plan to face Lesnar if he’s not facing The Rock. However, this was before they had secured the services of Bill Goldberg. With it not looking like The Rock will be available to wrestle, as we noted last week, we’re expecting Goldberg vs. Lesnar. If, for any reason they change the plan, it’ll be Shane vs. Brock Lesnar. But If Goldberg vs. Lesnar happens, Shane is expected to land on the card and is currently pushing to face AJ Styles.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins is also penciled in.

You can review plans for The Rock in an earlier update here on WNW Premium.
