The arrival of Big Cass has restored some of Vince McMahon’s faith in Triple H and NXT’s ability to develop guys that can cut it in the big time. The Ascension, Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas, Adam Rose, etc were all flops and shook Vince's confidence in the system. He's still on the fence about The Vaudevillians as well. Kevin Owens continues to grow on him, but he doesn't see the appeal of Sami Zayn.
However, with Vince seeing dollar signs in Big Cass, he's given Triple H the green light on a few more call ups this summer, so anybody with a deal running up in the next month or two that isn't a major player is at risk of getting let go and if not, has no leverage in negotiations.
Separate from all of this, Vince is very high up on Cass’s tag team partner, Enzo Amore. While he obviously likes Cass over Enzo, he realizes Enzo is largely responsible for getting both of them over. Not only is Enzo/Cass merch selling far beyond expectations right now, but their theme song, which Enzo raps on, is one of the best selling WWE songs right now at digital music outlets.
Vince and Enzo met last week to discuss his return (which happened on Raw) and they even discussed the possibility of having him record even more music for the company.
