Vince McMahon has been complaining recently that so many of the wrestlers WWE has been signing are so small, even criticizing NXT as being "the land of the midgets". This is the reason EVOLVE's Keith Lee and WXW's Walter were given tryouts at WWE Axxess so that Triple H could appease Vince and show him that there are some bigger guys coming down the pipeline.

Lee and Walter have both been told they will be offered WWE contracts and they are currently going through their background checks and wellness testing.

Lee has started telling promoters that he can't take bookings after May while Walter has been telling promoters he can't take dates after June. He reportedly signed with WWE last week.

Both publicly denied last month that they had been offered contracts, which at the time was true and they still technically haven't been given contracts, but after WrestleMania weekend they were told they would be receiving official offers soon.

Vince still hasn't seen either one of them, but Triple H is hoping their arrivals in NXT will help change Vince's current perception of WWE developmental being so focused on smaller wrestlers.
