- Tickets for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame go on sale on Friday and the company has still not announced a headliner. Diamond Dallas Page and Rick Rude are two names that have leaked as 2017 inductees but the company has not yet announced anyone officially. There has been some internal debate about who to announce as the headliner and there are at least some that believe that particular name has not yet been revealed.

- Drew Galloway’s contract with TNA Wrestling is up and there is WWE interest. Having written that, nothing has been signed at press time.

- WWE intentionally teased Braun Strowman vs. The Undertaker by cutting to Strowman watching Undertaker’s Raw return on the monitor on this week’s broadcast. We’re not writing this is going to happen but it’s something Vince wanted out there and if anything else, it shows how much he thinks of Strowman.

- The plan as of Monday was for Roman Reigns to win the WWE Universal Championship from Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble and do Owens vs. Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 33. This is believed to be the reason why Jericho was put over for the US title on this week’s Raw.

- Rusev has seen his stock in WWE turnaround in recent weeks, with many believing he has revamped his character. However, he recently got some heat backstage for a tweet that he sent out where he complained about the amount of television time given to Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.

- Vince McMahon is really enjoying the competition between Raw and Smackdown Live, as the internal competition is the reason the brand extension was first created and the reason it was resumed in 2016.
