The Kurt Angle to WWE talk has once again been reignited. Angle's contract with TNA Wrestling expired on September 21, 2014 and much has been written about his future.

We reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com on August 21, 2014 that a lack of opponents for Brock Lesnar could create a viable opportunity for Angle to have a short part-time run in WWE. That later died down and I was ready to put it to bed for good. However, multiple sources note that could now be premature.

It's true Angle has inquired about a possible WWE return but there wasn't a lot of interest. The only possible job for Angle was a role where he would come in as a developmental trainer/ambassador for the company.

However, we're told with Vince McMahon once again determined to "beef up" the roster at the top of the card, there have been more talks about bringing Angle back. It's unknown how far these talks have progressed, as some have suggested an offer was made. As in any situation where contracts are being negotiated, a lot is floated to create leverage.

I'm told WWE would not under any circumstances want Angle back full-time and do not believe his body could hold up to the schedule. Internally in WWE, the debate is how much of a risk he would be, with those in favor of bringing him back feeling like even if he burns out in six months, he would help them through a rough patch.

We can confirm Angle remains a free agent as of press time.
