While he hasn’t worked for WWE in over a decade and will be 49 years old on Sunday, Bill Goldberg remains relevant in December 2015. Both TNA Wrestling and WWE are interested in his services.

Goldberg just wants a one show deal in WWE - a match at Wrestlemania 32. WWE, on the other hand, wants a one year deal. So the two sides are far apart in terms of structure. Even if they could agree on money per date, WWE has a lot of network dates to fill and they're looking for Goldberg as a special attraction they can use sporadically throughout the year.

There is discussion within WWE of offering Goldberg a six month deal but the offer hasn't been made yet. That at least gets them Goldeberg for Wrestlemania season, Summerslam and Night of Champions. However, it’s unknown if he’d be receptive of such a deal.

Normally Goldberg doesn't have much leverage, but with TNA on a higher profile network in 2016, he's in a better negotiating position for Wrestlemania 32 than he was for Wrestlemania 31 (and this back and forth between WWE and Goldberg has gone on from time to time for years at this point).
