WWE could be on the verge of a roster raid as I can confirm they have contacted wrestlers currently working for Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate USA and other prominent independent promotions. Multiple sources tell me on behalf of that WWE has begun to look for talent for a proposed WWE Network show centered on cruiserweight talent.

Rumors began to make rounds last week about the show after a couple independent workers leaked word to some publications they were contacted by WWE about their respective contracts. I'm told officials in both ROH and Dragon Gate are concerned about losing some of their top guys, however, I can confirm that no one with a valid ROH Wrestling contract has asked for their release... at least not yet

A source within WWE tells me the company isn’t at the point of offering contracts because with the delay of the WWE Network launch, a start date for filming the prospective series has yet to be set. I'm told the company is more or less "snooping around" to fully evaluate their options.

I can confirm WWE is searching for guys right at the 200-pound range with high-flying arsenals.
