An audio recording aired prior to this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw at the Greensboro Coliseum in support of repealing the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act (a/k/a North Carolina House Bill 2), which has been commonly referred to as the North Carolina Bathroom Bill. I’m unclear if this was at WWE’s discretion or at the discretion of the venue, as the board of the Greensboro Coliseum has asked Governor Pat McCrory to oppose House Bill 2 after canceled performances resulted in a “disastrous impact” to the facility.

The bill has been opposed by everyone from Michael Jordan to Jimmy Buffet and has caused many events scheduled to take place at the venue to be outright canceled. CLICK HERE for more on the Greensboro Coliseum’s letter to the governor about the controversial legislation.
