Bubba Ray Dudley Tweeted the following after appearing as a surprise entrant in the 2015 30-man Royal Rumble match on Sunday night:
In a backstage interview, Bubba Ray talked about this year being his first ever Royal Rumble match and his first time back in WWE in “like 10 years.” He called WWE his home, not because he says so but because the WWE Universe says so. Bubba said WWE is where he belongs.

The former Bully Ray is another top TNA name to leave the promotion and any chance of him returning is now out the window.
After being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame with Devin over Bound for Glory weekend, he garnered heat for cutting two unapproved promos on the show where he called out the Bullet Club from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Both promos were edited off the pay-per-view broadcast.
In November, Ray used Twitter to voice frustration over TNA’s lack of communication with their talent. He expressed interest in facing Brock Lesnar in December.
Most recently, Bubba Ray appeared to voice legitimate frustration over TNA’s handling of Velvet Sky as she was “fired” as part of the company’s “Feast or Fired” match. He Tweeted the following to Destination America:

In reality, TNA was unable to come to terms on a new contract for Velvet Sky.
In regards to Ray’s future with WWE, I am unable to confirm his status going forward. I know communication has been open for quite some time and I’m on record as to writing a pairing with Paul Heyman would get over huge.
