After the events of tonight's 205 Live where the finals of the #1 contendership tournament took place, it has been made official.

Tony Nese defeated Cedric Alexander tonight thus giving him a Cruiserweight Title opportunity against Buddy Murphy at Wrestlemania 35.

Murphy made a brief appearance after the match and hit Nese with a cheapshot. Prior to that, they also had a normally heel Nese shake hands with Cedric after the bout.
