Cesaro was interviewed by the Liverpool Echo and said what most of us are thinking. While promoting WWE's upcoming European tour, Cesaro gave his thoughts on the "new wave of guys" coming through and delivered a sobering truth.
Below is an excerpt:
It's certainly a time when the likes of yourself, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, the new wave of guys coming through, are proving that you are performers who can 'go' in the ring, just as much as you can talk on the mic.
"Exactly. It is a new era of guys, it's a new generation, and it's a lot of fun to watch that because there are fresh match-ups. I mean I'm sick of seeing John Cena against Randy Orton for the 500th time. It's great that we have some new, young guys that can come out and provide absolutely great match-ups and for the fans there are fresh, exciting matches and things to watch."

Richard Reacts: While I completely agree with Cesaro, I hope this doesn't impact him on TV. I spend a lot of time trying address WWE rehashing a program we've seen multiple times when there is so much talent waiting in the wings. It's unexplainable and it's nice to see someone in the WWE locker room have enough guts to say it. By all accounts Cesaro is "cool" with Cena, so this doesn't appear to be anything personal but just someone that's ready for something fresh.
Further, the argument can certainly be made this is just a case of a heel being a heel. And while that's certainly true, #HeelZiggler got heat in the past for making comments seen as being too outspoken against the company.
