CM Punk Speaks On Life After WWE - "Never Ever" Returning

Chris Van Vliet from CBS-19 out of Cleveland, Ohio interviewed former WWE star CM Punk on the red carpet at the AP Music Awards at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday night.

Punk, in good spirits, said he feel's "f*ckin' awesome" and talked about being asked to take part in the festivities. He said that he was originally asked to host the AP Music Awards but at the time, he had prior engagements that wouldn't allow him to be there on a Monday. Punk said those fell through and here he is. He joked around and said he was there from years and years of friendships.

Van Vliet reminded Punk it was in Cleveland that he was last with "that company" (remember, Punk was at the Quicken Loans Arena prior to Raw when he met with Vince McMahon and Triple H and walked out). Punk said there are chunks of his life that he doesn't remember [during the past 6 months] due to "staph infections" and "concussions." He joked, you can't blame it all on drugs with this guy because he's straight edge. Punk showed off his wedding band when explaining what he'd been doing over the past 6 months. He said he's off the market.

CM Punk said he's not a WWE superstar or a former WWE superstar. He's CM Punk, just a superstar. Van Vliet asked him if there's ever a chance we'll see him back in a squared circle. Punk answered no, then got sarcastic with it. He over accentuated that he'll "never ever EVER" be back, saying Twitter was going to go crazy and they were going to hold him to it.
