On an episode of Sam Roberts Podcast, Cody Rhodes told a story about the dedication and hard work of Shane McMahon. He talked about the process of using motion-capture suits to record the movements of wrestlers in the game so as to get their signature moves and poses presented as accurately as possible. Cody noted that most of the time, the 2K people just get independent wrestlers to learn the moves and act out the poses because most of the WWE superstars simply don't have the time to do so.
Cody then noted that the only one who insisted on doing his own maneuvers and poses was Shane McMahon himself. Shane put on the motion capture suit for long periods of time and did his own moves until the technicians were able to capture everything exactly as he thought it should look in the game.
